Himalayan footbridge Chamrousse

Chamrousse’s new Himalayan footbridge, a must for all thrill-seekers!
A suspension bridge over the Casserousse couloir, accessible from La Croix, provides access to the Belledonne belvedere with views of the Robert lakes.

Casserousse Himalayan footbridge in figures: 130 m long, 0.9 m wide and 25 m high, with a maximum gradient of 9.5%.

In summer: part of the “Boucle du Panoramic Park de la Croix de Chamrousse” at the top of the resort, via the “Belledonne” pedestrian loop.
Access route: gondola > picnic area > Himalayan footbridge > Belledonne lookout > Himalayan footbridge > picnic area.
Good to know: if you’re afraid of heights but still want to discover the Belledonne lookout, you can take the access path just below to avoid it.

Easy access to the summit via the La Croix gondola (fee payable): daily in summer (July-August) and weekends only in late June and September (subject to weather conditions).
